We’re continuing with our teaching series that’s called “The Call Of God.” This is Lesson Nine and it’s called “The Mission Of The Church.” The primary mission of the Christian church is rooted in the Great Commission, calling believers to make disciples of all nations by proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ's life, death, and resurrection while relying on the power of the Holy Spirit. This mandate is carried out through a dual dynamic of "winning and weaning"—first bringing converts to salvation through active evangelism and global missions, and then maturing them through grounded teaching, relational discipling, and spiritual growth in both the local church and the family home. True biblical ministry encompasses authentic fellowship (koinonia) bound in divine love, Spirit-filled daily worship and prayer, and practical service that addresses the physical and material needs of others, reflecting Christ's compassion to the world.
