We’re continuing with our messages today that’s called Fool’s Gold Series. This is Lesson Three and it’s called “Worth Its Weight in Gold.” We’re beginning a new series today that’s called Fool’s Gold Series. This is Lesson Eight and it’s called “Worth Its Weight in Gold.” True wisdom and knowledge are precious treasures hidden within Jesus Christ, who should take ultimate priority in a Christian's life. Drawing from Colossians 2:2–7, discovering this spiritual treasure yields three profound results: it provides encouragement and unites believers through strong, loving community ties; it inspires complete confidence in God's revealed plan through Christ; and it compels believers to actively follow and walk in Him. Because Christ fulfills all of God's promises and far outweighs any earthly wealth, believers are called to cultivate a close relationship with Him, confidently drawing near to His grace and willingly prioritizing Him above all else. Ultimately, as illustrated by the parable of the hidden treasure (Matthew 13:44) and highlighted in 2 Corinthians 1:20, all of God's promises find their fulfillment in Christ. He is a treasure worth trading everything for, and as believers, we are encouraged to boldly draw near to His throne of grace to find help and wisdom in times of need.
