Today, we’re continuing our sermon series called “One Another. This is Message Three and it’s entitled “Serve One Another.” True Christian freedom is not an invitation to self-focused living or self-indulgence, but a call to express love through humble, practical service to others. Drawing from Galatians 5, Apostle Paul cautions that self-centeredness destroys relationships and community health, whereas serving builds up the body of Christ and fulfills God's law to love our neighbor as ourselves. While serving can feel inconvenient, costly, or overwhelming—especially when evaluated through a consumer mindset—even the smallest, unobserved acts of service become meaningful acts of worship when rooted in love and modeled after Jesus, who came to serve and give His life. Ultimately, believers are called to move past passive agreement and consumerism, allowing the Holy Spirit to guide us into intentional, daily action that displays Christ's love within our homes, churches, and communities.
