Aug. 09, 2026

Drawing from Luke 12:32-40, Psalm 23:1-3, and Hebrews 12:1-3, believers are called to live with steadfast faith and active readiness as we await the return of Christ. Because God acts as a good shepherd who guides, restores, and provides for His flock, Christians can overcome fear and release our hold on material possessions, choosing instead to anchor our hearts in eternal, heavenly treasure. To remain watchful amidst a world full of spiritual distractions, believers must stay spiritually alert and cast aside the sins and burdens that hinder us. Ultimately, enduring this journey requires fixing one's eyes on Jesus, whose ultimate sacrifice and perseverance serve as the strength and motivation to avoid growing weary or faint-hearted.
