Today we’ll spend time examining the fact that A Light Has Dawned for us because Jesus is the Light of the World. Jesus as the Light of the World marks a transformative shift, offering humanity a way out of the hopeless darkness of sin and fatalism into the immediate reality of the Kingdom of God. Matthew chapter 4 illustrates that Jesus boldly stepped into His ministry by declaring the near kingdom, calling His first disciples, and displaying His authority over sickness through healing. Leaving the darkness requires a choice to actively follow Him as Lord by listening to His teachings in Scripture and putting His words into practice through continuous, Spirit-guided effort rather than passive belief. By choosing this counter-cultural path of obedience and love, we enter into God's kingdom of love and light today, experiencing the best possible way to live.
