Today, we’re concluding our sermon series called “Nothing To Fear; Nothing To Prove. This is message three and it’s entitled “Love No Matter What.” Based on 1 John 4:7–21, we are highlighting that God's core nature is unconditional, life-giving love, and because His Holy Spirit dwells within believers, they have an unending source of love to share with others. Because God's love provides total security, believers have nothing to fear—even through life's trials—and nothing to prove to gain approval. While initial, impulsive reactions to difficult situations stem from human nature, Christians are responsible for choosing an intentional, loving response, which is always possible through Christ. Ultimately, believers are called to love everyone—including neighbors, fellow Christians, and enemies—so that the world can catch a glimpse of the invisible God through their courageous, selfless love.
