We’re completing out series today that’s called Fool’s Gold. This is Lesson Four and it’s called “Eureka!” Our message emphasizes that discovering true, eternal divine wisdom requires a correct heart posture defined as the "fear of the Lord," a concept centered on a healthy reverence and deep respect for God rather than a paralyzing terror. Drawing from biblical events in Exodus and Matthew, the sermon explains that this healthy fear yields three distinct fruits: awe in response to God's immense power, faith that trusts in His unseen eternal truths over tangible worldly things, and a firm foundation built securely upon His Word. Ultimately, believers are challenged to stop chasing temporary, counterfeit treasures ("fool's gold") and instead establish a proper view of God, allowing them to anchor their lives in His enduring wisdom and miraculous power.
